In this session, Professor Steven Youngblood will share information about his experiences teaching Peace Journalism in 2010-2011 (Uganda PJ project-$270,000 State Dept grant) and 2011-2012 (Peace media and terrorism project--$150,000 State Dept grant). Participants will discuss application of the Ugandan models to other projects, and be asked to produce a framework for an action plan for inclusion of peace/conflict sensitive journalism into their curricula.
